Konstantin Putrya Chaired the Maritime Arbitration Committee at the Young Institute of Modern Arbitration

Under the leadership of Konstantin Putrya, steps will be taken to bring together young scholars, practicing lawyers, and all those who are interested in resolving maritime disputes through arbitration.

The goals and objectives of the committee include:

  • Analysis of the specific features of maritime disputes and arbitral practice through selected case studies;
  • Establishment of a platform for discussion within the field among all those interested in maritime law and international commercial arbitration, including prominent lawyers;
  • Promotion of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in the field of maritime commercial shipping;
  • Development of cooperation with Russian and international organisations, including the LMAA, the Maritime Arbitration Commission at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, RUMLA, and others.
