Our colleagues Konstantin Putrya and Ivan Kobchenko took part in the 18th Russian Bunker Oil Forum. They delivered presentations on issues related to bunkering operations and bunker oil spills that the maritime industry is currently facing.
Konstantin spoke about claims related to the use of low-quality bunker fuel. He analysed the most common claims and related contractual risks and provided some basic recommendations to decrease the risks. Ivan provided insights on recent cases of bunker oil spills at sea and explained what they mean for companies working in the industry.
